 User feedback on the play kitchens

The Kidkraft Wooden Kitchens get the thumbs up from users and reviews are very positive. For an example this reviwer gave the kitchen a 5 star review on durability educational and fun. She says that children up to 8 years enjoy it. She is referring to the Deluxe big bright kitchen here but all the Kidkraft play kitchens get similarly positive reviews.  

"This product is great. I ordered this for the daycare that I run out of my home for ages 2 - 10. All ages love this kitchen. It took me a bit of time to put it all together but it is very durable, and the kids absolutely can not get enough of it. Even though it says recommended up to age 9, the 10 year olds have fun playing with it too. Not small and dinky either. Great product for the money!"

"I ordered this kitchen for my 2 daughters, ages 7 and 1 1/2... they both enjoy it equally!! It is durable, beautifully colored and more than I imagined! I specifially looked to buy a wooden kitchen because I wanted something more durable than plastic. Also the size is great, not dinky but not too big either! The box it came in was pretty heavy but the pieces were very well packed although one piece (the refrigerator shelf) did manage to come broken.. It was no problem because upon contacting the company, they quickly sent out a replacement part free of charge and within a few days! I was able to put the kitchen together myself rather easily (and without the missing part). I would definitely recommend this kitchen!"

The pink retro kitchen too has lots of great feedback from users. For example this one a Mom who bought the retro for her 2 year old: 

"... It exceeded all of my expectations!
First off, it was actually pretty easy to put together - took the two of us about 30-45min to assemble. Also, it is just the perfect pale petal pink color with silver colored accents. And lastly, the wood is really solid and has a nice lacquer on it, which makes it look and feel really expensive and durable. I honestly think this is just as cute as the MUCH more expensive Pottery Barn sets, and my daughter has a great time moving her play food and dishes from the frige to the sink to the stove and cooking up dinner for her dolls. It's a huge hit! "

"This is the perfect kitchen and our 5 year old loves it. I'm sure it will be a big hit for years to come. It's the ideal size - large enough for older kids to play and small enough to put in the corner of a room. The instructions were clear although lots of pieces. Took my husband and I 2 hours to assemble. Buy this kitchen if you are considering purchasing one. This is a great value, well made, easy to assemble and much less expensive than some of the others on the market."

Difficult to choose beteeen these play kitchens since they all have great user reviews.

Thumbs up for Kidkraft Customer Service

One recurring theme from customer reviewers is that the Kidkraft company is very good to deal with and quickly replaces any parts that arrive damaged. Since these kitchens are large it is inevitable that they will sometimes be damaged in transit so it is reasuring to know that Kidkraft are responsive when there is a problem.

One reviewer suggests you get the kitchen early if it is for Christmas or birthday because that gives you time to get any replacements. A good idea.
